We Love to Watch Builds!
#46
I think that I have been pretty good about trying to keep my build thread all in one place. I have asked a few straight up questions in differant threads but I think that I have always gone back and posted the results in the build thread.
But my buid thread does go kinda stale when I haven't posted for a while and I finally find it back on page 25 or so.
I'm no good at linking etc but if someone posts part of their build in another thread, can't they put a link in their build thread back to those seperate posts?

Click on this link to get you to the 48-56 forum: 1948 - 1956 F1, F100 & Larger F-Series Trucks - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
Then click on the "New Thread" button.
Name the thread something that will tell people what it's about. I called mine "53 F100 Deluxe Cab Flat V8" to tell people enough about my truck to get them interested.
You could also include a letter such as:
O - Original
S - Original with Safety updates (brakes, etc.)
R - Rodded (Looks like Henry made it, but not after you turn the key)
D - Darkside (Hot Rod) Mostly like Henry, but with your improvements
Then start posting information and updates on your build. Include lots of pictures so we can see how it's coming.
Even if it seems like you're not getting a lot done, throw out a post just to let us know you're there, and to get your thread back to the top. That way new people can see what you're up to.
If you want to include your build thread in the "Members Build Threads" section, click here, go to the first post, and follow the instructions: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...threads-7.html
I'm looking forward to seeing your project.

1953 F100 (D)
I am working on a '53 F100....I hate to say it but I have put a 350 Small Block in it. I am now working on putting in a Holley Terminator EFI. They have a fuel pump that works with this system. The pump instructs me to mount it below the gas tank. Obviously, it's hard to mount anything lower than the gas tank on my model F100. My question is, has anyone found it difficult to mount an aftermarket fuel pump feeding a Fuel Injection System? Does the location of the pump (Not being below the fuel tank) cause the fuel pump to fail? Thanks for any help or advice!
