302 carb

I知 having problems with the truck that I just bought. The engine was completely rebuilt by the guy that I bought it from it starts right up and idles great but when I press the accelerater pedal it stalls. I知 sure it's the carb and probably something simple I just don稚 know a thing about adjusting one and I知 afraid to mess with it until I get some advice from one of you guys. Thanks!

I suggest ya start by understanding how carburetors function. The web is your oyster.

.... and figuring out what carburetor you have.

An SBF with what looks like an Autolite 2150 most likely. Could be a 2100 too..... a very simple design. However, carbs all work on the same basic principles. After that is understood, move on to understanding the specifics of a 2100/2150.

If you asking to be spoonfed a dissertation on carbs then yer barking up the wrong tree... personally ain't got time for that. Maybe others do. But the web is a gold mine of info if ya know how to use it to broaden your own knowledge base.
