Where can I find metal intercooler pipe and boots?

I've got a friend running Matt's SRL tune and when he got on the throttle, his plastic intercooler pipe blew to pieces on the bend. We're trying to find the metal pipe and rubber boots and clamps to replace the plastic pipe, and I've found everything for $170 on RiffRaff Diesel's site. Just wondering if anybody knew of anywhere else to find all of this stuff for any cheaper?

Riff Raff Diesel will sell it without the boots, use the regular Ford boots from Tousley and it might come out cheaper; or source the whole thing from Tousley. Riff Raff is the only place I've seen the pipe outside of a Ford parts house.

If you choose not to have our boots then they come with the Ford boots.

When was the last time you checked that with Tousley? Cause I found out today that most dealerships, if not all of them, aren't selling any of those 3 parts (2 boots or the tube) anymore and even the 03 and early 04 trucks are getting the plastic tubes now if they have to have any of those 3 parts replaced.

I ran the VIN on an '03 recently, I assumed the PN that came up was a direct replacement. Maybe that's why it was so cheap.

6C3Z-6K769-B came up as $97 ish, I assumed it was metal. $64 at Tousley. Unless that's the wrong side of the CAC

Edit: the PN from Riff Raff runs through, 6C3Z6C646A shows up, maybe it is plastic though. Tousley is $6 cheaper, so basically identical to Riff Raff, but not sure if it's metal anymore

Yeah I just talked to the guy at Tousley and he doesn't know if it's metal or plastic either. I don't want to risk it, especially considering I know what RiffRaff's are. The only thing I'm trying to decide now is if RiffRaff's boots are worth the extra $46 over the stock boots...

Well, no one has shown the insides of his peeling off and getting fed to the intercooler, so he's at +1 over dieselsite for boots in my book. 7.3 guy like them for what I've seen.

http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/11...ite-boots.html

I was on his site this morning looking at the metal tube, and I swear to Jesus I missed the line about it coming with stock boots. My hot side ones are hanging in so I was going to wait until I needed all 4 replaced, but myabe at only $126 I can do the cold side then do boots when something dies. I hate pulling that plastic pipe off, feels like it'll break every single time.
