Any reason to keep the back cab corner?

Any reason to keep the back cab corner?
Rather then repairing the holes in my back cab corners, I'm thinking of slicing them off and just stretching the floor.
I assume these cab corners hang down like skirts because the cab had to be designed for all of the F__0 models they produced.
Any reason to keep them?

Looks like you may have a few more holes than that when you get around to it. Of course there is nothing wrong with altering the shape of the cab corner as there is nothing wrong with running a Delco alternator, but you have to ask yourself, what kind of Ford guy am I ? LOL! You will only see the cut off mistreated portion of your truck when you are under it if you have a styleside, unless you have removed other seemingly unimportant portions of the body!
