Quesrion for everyone....I am occasionally losing a little bit of coolant out of the degas cap. It doesn't seem to matter whether I hammer the thing or not. I have an SCT with Innovative tunes and I am currently just running the unlimited tow tunes on it. I also have a 4" MBRP with no cats on the truck. I have a Scanguage and my deltas seem to be around 12 to 14 degres at 80 on the Interstate. I am getting ready to delete the EGR and replace the oil cooler just was wondering if anyone thinks the heads may be an issue as well. Thanks in advance for the help.
I have. I am getting very little coolant out of the bottle. Seems to be hit and miss. I am planning on doing the EGR delete and new oil cooler anyway. I do occasionally see the deltas on the EOT vs The ECT touch 17 degrees after it has come from pulling a hill or something that puts the boost up to around 26PSI. I may just do the heads at the same time anyway...just currious to see if anyone had experienced the same problem. It just seems to be hit and miss when it does it. I may go 2 weeks before it does it and it may only take a few days. It seemed to do almost all the time last year when I pulled the camper though.

You might want to think about doing a coolant flush prior to doing the work, if you hadn't thought about it. Let the old oil cooler catch any debris not the new one.
