That will work.. Make sure your tape hangs in there for the long haul, lol.. Get it taped up, and next year you go to start it some cold day and the starter wont kick over, cause the tape comes loose.. LOL!

Sounds like you got a hold on it!

Yea this is only temporary untill I can find a SF because I work my truck to much for a m5od to handle

Is there any way to make the m5r2 any stronger? And people here are telling me to put a Hurst shifter on it can anyone explain reason of that

Well I put the nss in neutral. And tapped it off the truck don't crank

The M50D is stronger than a T-5, but there is no aftermarket support for internals that I know of.

The factory shifter is adequate, but has bushings that can wear and the housing can leak fluid and, if you didnt notice when having it on the ground, the top cover leaks through the 'vents', so the should be plugged.

The Hurst is a sealed unit that will not leak and moves half the distance of a factory shifter. It is a nice unit. When I installed mine I reused the factory boots instead of the one that comes with it.

My swap is complete but it seems to not have much power my buddies 95 is the same. But its factory 5speed it has more power then mine both 3.55 i6 could tranny codes cause this? Also I don't have a nss yet I just crossed the solenoid to start it?

Is there wires I can cross to bypass the neutral. Saftey switchand get my power back?

If you had an automatic in there prior I didn't think they had one wired in. The wires are there but where the switch is its jumped out.

Maybe not? If memory serves me, the wires are lt. blue with a red stripe and they are under the driver side dash near the emergency brake.

I got my nss for the auto plugged it in now the truck starts fine but still feels sluggish do I have to change my computer?

Your computer is looking for the auto tranny. Changing it would probably help
