Anybody have extra stake pocket cover?

If I had half a brain I wouldn't be asking this question. But I went to the lumber yard and hauled some stuff home. Took out two of the covers to tie stuff down and set them on the bumper. As I did this I told myself not to do that I would forget them, then my other side of the brain said no you will not. Anyways unloading the material and remembered that I forgot them on the bumper and they are gone. So if anybody has any extra they don't need please pm me. Thank you very much. Seth

I hate it when I do stuff like that. I'm infamous for sitting my coffee cup on the bumper and driving off. Have even lost a couple of pair of glasses like that The 350 is missing all of them. Can't seem to find them online so it seems my choices will be the wrecking yards or hijack them from the 250. Same year so should fit?

It's on it's way via the US Snail. I'd give it a week, or two... or three.

Here's a solution to this problem. I have a set of these, they aren't extremely heavy duty but they look nice and work great.

Amazon.com: Bully WTD-810 Pop-up Tie Down Clamps - Stainless Steel: Automotive

There are a few other types of them out there if you search for "stake pocket tie down". I just happened to find these ones on clearance at Walmart for 10 bucks.

Those do look nice, but I have never been a big fan of anything like that. I like the stock look. Heck I drove all the way back to the store looking for them. Surprisingly I did find one of them in the store parking lot and dcchamberlin is sending me one so I am back to a full set. I am gonna have to tie a sting to these things or something

I remember long joke about senior moments, but could not find it on the net at the time.
Here is what hit me in the search.
Why do women rub their eyes when they wake up?
Because they don't have ***** to scratch.

The good news is that these covers have been the same for over 10 years for all of Ford's pickups. That makes it easier to find replacements when we lose a few. I put mine in a back pocket and then wonder where they are until the end of the day.

I have four Bullring retractable tie downs. I use them so much and like them so well, I have moved them from truck to truck over the years.
