Wow thats weird, how much does propane cost? I also wonder how much it cost to do that sort of conversion.

Conversion is like a grand (for the parts, not counting the tanks)

Costs about $3/gal at normal places, probably less if getting 100+ gallons

You know that would be something to consider. Though i think doing a conversion to use hydrogen would probably be more beneficial but really expensive. Using propane though, that could serve as a dual purpose for running an in-bed torch.

It burns super clean, oil barely gets dirty at all after 5K miles.

Man, imagine my 400 powered by a 100 gallon propane tank... Thad be cool. But with a carbbed engine wouldn't it cost more for injectors?

I have been interested in propane for awhile, more so now that gas is $4.23 a gallon. But a grand is a lot of money.... and I don't know if the power would go down at all

I saw its listed again.

My understanding,
You do loose a little power, and efficiency (5-10%).
But at just over half the cost of gasoline, that's not bad.
