Airbagit.com ones are similar in spec wise to belltechs. If I get another F-series 2wd I was gonna give them a shot. Cali style isnt bad, they are still practical unlike bagged things.

To tell you the truth, I'd almost rather go with the 4" drop hangers instead of an axle flip...More...Stock that way, IMPO...

you mean a hanger and shackle kit. That would give you the 4" rear and you can just do the beams up front.

The flip is really more stock if you ask me. You are only adding a flip bracket where as the hangers require you to cut off the rivets and bolt the drop ones in.

well this is to be next on the truck... Gonna fix all the rust spots and cut out the inner fenders and weld in better/new ones.

Here's the paint to be 2-toned on it

^^^^--- Is jealous

I have 90 module and i so want to lower it front and back, just every time i get the funds saved up life slaps me back.

Like sidewinder, my thinking has me leaning to hangers and brackets, plus dream beams. But if there is a cheaper way to get a 3/4 lower and still have a safe / cost effective ride. What would you suggest?

safe / cost effective = not putting substandard parts that are just too cheap for my own good / wont cost me in other ways like weird tire wear, messed up dives trains you name it.

Do Belltech hands down. They have a 3/4 and some times if you shop around and find promo coupons you can get stuff pretty cheap. I would no matter what though run belltech. I have had terrible luck with djm. And the tech guy don't know squat about their own stuff.

Belltech is the most cost effective way. Whereas djm you will have to spend money twice over due to their parts failing

Sorry to revive a dead thread lol

Whay would you suggest for a lowering front spring? I'm planning on shackles and hangers on the back. So 4" and want to bring the front down 1.5-2" don't really want to do beams. Just looking for a spring.

Guys seem to recommend Moog cc818 springs but from what I can tell thats what comes stock on my truck...lol

89 2wd rcsb 4.9 5speed.
