Looking for info on I think pre 48 COE

I'm looking for info on 40's coe truck I don't know much about them so any help would be good.

I think i'm looking for pre 48 because pictures I have seen the 47 has the tall grill and the 48 has the wide grill please correct me if i'm wrong.

I'm looking for a truck that is complete and for sale but I want to restore it myself so please let me know if you can help
Thanks
Joe

The 41 to 47 COE trucks look like the 47 you can see in my avatar.

Where are you located?

That was a 41 and I now have it.

Watch eBay and Craigslist. Also join a local chapter of the Early Ford V8 club and tell people at meetings what you are looking for. And try posting in the wanted sections here and Ford Barn.
