who told you that?
I bought a new GP harness, weeded out everything I didnt need from the old harness, patched the new one in. Then I extended the harness and moved the controller over to the driver side batt box.

Seen a bit about moving the GP controller. Thats easy, instead of running it behind the intake mouth, run it in front. I made a bracket for my snail that the controller bolts to. Similar to what NMB2 was running when he first got the engine together.
On the cams. What i have read, heard, got told, and put together myself The torque cam is designed to produce more power lower in the powerband on aNA engine. Whereas NMB2's cam is designed specifically with boost in mind. Less valve overlap, better valve events and better valve timing all help to get more cold air in and more hot air out helping the VE of the engine enormously. On top of all that, it helps get rid of pressure spikes and reversion in the exhaust and cylinder.
Hope i answered some questions and didnt give away too much.

I just moved mine I had to soder the two driver side rear GP cables and make an extension for the oil sending unit wire. I used a thin piece of aluminum and cut it to the lenght of the GP control unit and drilled holes with the aluminum laying flat under it, when I put it on the oil dipstick mount, the bolts tightened the aluminum strap and it fit snugly. I also ran the passenger fuel return line in front of the. Intake to keep it away from the heat. I wrapped the throttle cables with heat sheilding.
