Does this 1977 F150 4x4 look like a "good" truck to you guys?

Chris - Thanks. I've read that site "cover to cover" but had forgotten this:
Beginning in MY 1973, Ford retarded camshaft timing by 6 degrees on all 335-series engines (except the 351C 4V) to meet emission control regulations. Camshaft timing was retarded by changing the keyway offset from the alignment mark on the crankshaft timing sprocket.
That answers that question, but not how RW got 20 MPG with the same engine I have.

By using 2nd gear until ~50 MPH, and running 65 most of the time. Of course, that was also using the factory specified leaded regular, back when it was still around.......
I wish I had kept that truck, and swapped in a 4 speed. Even with a NP435 or T18, 1st would have been a usable road gear......
