'79 Ford 302 build

Hello, Im in need of some help choosing parts for my 79 ford 302 engine going in for 92 ford flareside.

Mods to date are: long tube headers, dual exhaust, performer intake, 600cfm carb, and ported 79 heads.. it has a 4 speed std trans, 4.10 gears and 33" tires.

My question is about a good cam and heads for my setup. I have been looking at GT40 heads, and a Isky 270 Mega Cam. Does anyone agree with my choice or am I way off for what i want to accomplish of a truck with some power, and a nice sound idle.

Any better combo I should be going with?

thanks

It should be alright. Your parts seem compatible and the manual trans will be forgiving. Have the cam degreed for best performance.

Cool to see someone building a Granada. There is a local guy that has one going low 11s with a 351w. It's a real head turner!
