If you pull up to a stop light next to a dodge Cummins and you grit your teeth and blow his socks off. You must own a 6.0

If your stock truck is quicker than your friend's tuned 2008 Cummins ... you may own a 6.0L.

If you're a cabinet builder that does EGR deletes for other guys ... you may have owned a 6.0L for a while.

And if there's 3 6.0Ls on your yard that get used regularly and one 6.6L LB7 that just sits there ... you know you're a 6.0L man.

Oh, and if someone calls you "uncle 6"...

Funny you should say ,,, I just got the bug and cut her clean , breathing freely
My 6,0 straight pipe isn't really that loud but being a jet driver that turbo sounds

It isn't that loud, that's what I like about it. I can scream crazy but overall not noisy like ...like say, an LB7...

This is on the down side:

You might just own a 6.0 ... When the **** gets stolen !!!

I'm a newbie so follow the attached CL link:
Ford F250

FYI as of August 2013 Ford F250s have surpassed Escalades as the most stolen SUV/Truck in America: Follow this link: Ford F-250 is the new favorite for thieves

Two years ago at 90k miles I hated this engine. $8k later and some education this was one Bad *** **** trtuck and I was once again in love , but more than ever with my unit. Some Fers' killed that. Obviously a 6.0 is worth more than one may think. Use yer brain and protect that baby as much as possible.

UGH !!

Talking

You might own a 6.0 if you have codes for SGII, or other troubleshooting devices in the center console or on your smart phone.

Your "wish list" for Christmas presents is entirely "parts" to upgrade/MOD your truck. Family laughs when you go on-and-on about why the stock alternator should be upgraded, and then you need to upgrade the battery cables, and while I'm in there, I want to connect the plug for the block heater, and replace the serpentine belt, and put in the 08+ trans filter/pan upgrade, and replace the fluid in the rear DIFF....

You're first question when someone has a problem is "are your filters and cap oem"
You actually know what a FICM is
You go through the checkout line with 30 gallons of distilled water
