Why are you asking this kind of stuff in an Engine forum?

Do you ask what pistons to use in the Electrical forum, too?

I don't know why, but I got the biggest laugh out of that!

I'm sorry. It WAS funny though.

Ctubutis is right though. This needs to be in the right forum.

You go to Blockbuster looking for a copy of A Bug's Life to watch with your kids that evening. You find the Family section but can't find the movie because all the titles are mixed up and there are adult Drama and Horror movies intermixed. An unorganized, jumbled-up mess. You then complain to the manager on your way to a different store.

Call it being an *** if you like, but I doubt many people will support you.

I'll support him, you could've just moved it instead of the comments. Pretty simple really.

To put this thread to ease...

Yes, the Lightning Cluster will plug right in.....

Only thing different, is the PSOM will retain the Odometer's mileage readings from the 1995 Lightning...

Which, it's a simple 4 screws to swap out the PSOM's.....

Sounds like someone has spent too much time on the FSB forums. I agree the post did not belong here, however, as a moderator you could have easily moved it to the correct thread. Instead you berate the guy for posting it in the wrong section. Shame on you for your lack of "people skills"

Yes, maybe I could have, but I didn't, and for a reason

There's a larger chance of being accused of censorship and elitism by moving a post than leaving it there untouched and asking the OP about it.

I'll sometimes move such posts for newbies who have only a few posts but the OP has been here 6 months and should know how to play this game by now. Besides, it took 24+ hours for enough information to show up to figure out where an appropriate place might be (looks like 87-96 would have been best for his question). Best to let him accuse me of being an *** (in broken-English textese, no less) than get into a political discussion about censorship & rules & obligations & whatnot, this isn't a big enough issue to warrant that amount of time and work.

The comment about pistons in the Electrical forum was meant to be funny while demonstrating how out-of-place the OP's question is, at least one guy "got it."
