My truck is averaging 9.8 right now, all city, normal driving, empty. And I have 3.73 gears with 20" wheels.

I just got back from a 1600 mile round trip from Kansas to Ohio and back and averaged 15.4 by paper. I was loaded down lightly with about 300 lbs. of cargo in the bed and 3 1/2 passengers. Most of the highway driving (1450 miles) was between 70-75 mph.
I once again can't reinforce how pleased we are with the performance of this truck. The mix of fuel mileage and performance has been great!

I rode around today in an Ecoboost F150 4x4 with 46K on the clock. I was thinking before hand that it would ride much better and get better gas mileage. I also thought that it would feel like it had so much more power being turbocharged. I was disappointed. The ride seemed harsh vs my F350 and the average gas mileage was about the same. 13.3 vs 13. I wasn't all that impressed with the power. I'll take my 6.2 Super Duty over that any day.

Absolutely love my F250 so far. I have about 3500 miles and trip B which has never been reset is currently showing 11.4 mpg. Most of my miles have been short runs around the city with the occasional tow of my boat. Boat is 12,500-13,000 pounds and the 6.2 has no issues at all pulling her around. Towed her 100 miles round trip last week(alot of city) and averaged 7.5 mpg but I'm still getting used to the manual transmission. I think that number will definitely improve especially on a trip that is more highway less city. With no load, with driving mostly around town I still get between 13.5 and 15 most of the time. I'm learning tricks here and there to get better mileage such as coasting into stops when I know they are coming etc.

I think my next truck will be a 6.2 when I finally get tired of my 7.3. I browse this sub forum occasionally to keep informed and must admit, the 6.2l forum is one of the most boring forums on FTE. You guys just don't have anything to talk about.

you guys must have a very heavy right foot lol!!!!
I have learned that the truck seems happy for me to be a little heavy on the throttle on take off to get all that tonnage moving then back off.
My mixed driving gets me just over 14
I have also not reset my trip B in a long time......probably 8k miles and it reads 13.8
