interesting. especially the second one where he describes all of the resto work and then under the hood everything is dirty and the party is corroded and then the underside is leaking fluid onto the frame and springs.

Hmmm, not much attention to detail there buddy.

Then they will get pissed if you start asking hard questions about the vehicles and say you don't understand anything, etc., etc.

For $28K I would expect at least a hydro-boost conversion .
As for the second one.....well, I guess I have a different deffinition of "pristiene".

Agreed. Everything on the list was done within the last TEN YEARS!!. I wouldn't call a carb installed over a year ago "new". And seeing as he had a "frame off" paint job, they should have spent a little more time on the frame itself.
He must suffer from "attention to detail deficit disorder" (ADDD).

Every time I see one of these trucks I think, heck, mine's nicer than that! ....and I have $2,500 in mine so far.

Since I did all the hard work, I'll give everyone here a break. I have a '79 highboy with factory installed body lift and the 400 horse option, 300 six cylinder. It also has the super heavy duty four speed they put in tractor trailers back in the day, with the granny low 1st gear. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, pristine condition. (except it needs paint and some engine work) Yours for the low, low bargain price of $20K!

....at least my truck isn't covered in oil underneath.
