Got a 92 ranger im in the process of putting the axles and engine from a 77 Blazer K5. The end product should be a gm 12bolt rear, dana 44 straight (front) and a gm 400 sb w/th350 auto tran. 4wh drive and autolock hubs.
also going to through a tweve circuit system from painless..
ok got the engine tranny and full width axels in as well as a painless 12 circuit wirring harness, just finishing up the brakes paint and other metal work.... will post pics later
@fordman75 putting a 400 block into a s10 would be to easy..... any ways i like ford bodys and chevy pwoer trains so i doing it this way just beacause i can
I like American iron as much as anybody...but the good Lord didn't intend for them to be mix-and-match. I'm pretty sure it's in the bible. One of them long Old-Testimate books I think.
I own a K5 too, and a ford but I make sure to keep them parked far enough apart that they don't cross breed and stick me with some unholy frankenstein ******* truck.
