So #1: my trans is making some noise it sounds like a brake pad dragging on a rotor it happens intermitently throught the gears it might make the sound for a second then stop when I shift into neutral it stops and in 5th gear it is constant not loud at all you wouldn't even notice it if you weren't listening.
#2 if I take off in 1st, 2nd, or reverse and don't give it much throttle it amkes a rattle noise if I. Give it throttle the rattle stops.
#2 sounds like gear rollover. Standard with a single mass flywheel.
Have you checked the fluid level/condition? I overfilled mine by 1qt and now I only get a hair of the gear rollover when i just let the clutch out in first and second, but otherwise there's just the standard gear whine in all gears but 4th.
Yeah tomorow I will change the fluids and check the condition. On #1 the sound is coming from around the bell housing I think it is hard to tell because it usually only happens around 45+mph but not from the rear of the trans I am prety sure.
If your getting a rattle from the bell housing, its your clutch plate...the springs are worn out way too much....and you will need a new one soon....I just changed the clutch on mine and that is what my problem was.
