Sorry, I missed this question the first go around. Don't remember the original price because other work was done at the same time. I think the kit was around $4200 installed. As far as mileage goes, if you have to ask...
If I drive it gently I average about 13MPG but what fun is that? The bigger hit with the kit I have it requires premium fuel. I have the intercooled kit which goes up to 10 psi.
Unfortunately because the injectors have been changed out the lie-O-meter is waaaaaaay off, usually says somewhere around 20-25 MPG

I have not taken pics of the setup. I will try to snap a few this weekend. Besides the heat exchanger, tubing and the "head unit" of the supercharger there isn't much to see from up top. The kit uses the intercooler from the diesel EX so it looks pretty stock in there. I have the prototype so my heat exchanger doesn't have the sticker on top of it.

I know this is an ancient thread, but I have been toying with boosting my V10 F150 and I'm pretty sure all the V10 cranks are forged unlike the non-lightning 5.4 cast cranks with hollow journals.

You are right. All V10 cranks are forged and even with offset throws...Very strong! Rods are same as 5.4. So if you're going to blow it with more than 10-12lb I'd just buy a set of forged Manley Rods and Pistons and you're away! There's quite a few shops that will NC port the heads of either the 2 or 3 valve variety. And Comp will grind you cams if you want. I'm building an '08 3V to fit an Aussie Falcon van. I will stay normally aspirated because it's more about the torque for me. I will modify a stock plastic intake to work or make an ally one using two 5.4 3V ally intakes from a Falcon.

Yes it is old but it's still a good discussion.

Thanks for the post. Good luck!
