Hey Guys, Anybody had this problem. My sister ran over something in the road and punctured the fuel tank. He husband is in the service in Iraq, so I offered to replace the tank. I removed and replaced the tank with a new one from Ford. Now every time you put gas in it it wants to spit it back out. You have to put it in really really slow. I have taken the filler and vent tube and hoses back off to see if there was any obstructions. The filler tube and vent tube are clear. The filler and vent hoses are clear and not kinked. Anybody got any ideas or thoughts this is driving us crazy.
The van is a 1998 Ford Econline 150 with Triton V8 4.6 EFI it has a 35 gallon tank. This is a fully dresses van that has only 50K miles. Thanks for any help or advise.
