I am a huge fan. But cant afford one either. My next truck would have been a diesel. But if fuel doesnt go down I may have to go with another gasser.

I think my inner diesel urge is getting worse. I farted earlier and I swear I saw a puff of black smoke.

i think you got it pretty badily. I think its pretty much incurable when you start belching black smoke, and your breath smells like diesel fuel all the time.

I love diesels. Unfortunately I don't own one. But I'm hoping to buy a '95 Cummins from my Aunt, I know, not a Ford, but those cummins are sweet engines...

Used to be until I started driving them everyday for work. Now it's nice to be in a quiet gasser.

However, I still love getting on one and letting the turbo sing.

*raises hand* yep, I'm a diesel lover, actually looking for one right now. All the buddies have switched over to diesel so they gave me the diesel bug and now I'm gonna get one I think.

Just to let you know paying for the fule for one of these isn't fun. Unless you already drive a gass 3/4 or 1 tone truck or have a need for one I wouldn't recomend the swich. If you need a truck that big like I do it will still cost less for fule then a gasser when you figure in MPG especialy loaded. But even so now that I have a diesel I wouldn't want to go back to a gasser even if I didn't need this as a tow rig its just so much fun

Yeah, I already have a 1/2 ton truck and let me tell you the mpg is poor and it does get used. I'm the recover expert around here it seems so I get all the calls to pull people out of ditchs in the winter, plus I work for the county police and we use our own vehicles on calls so I feel safer shutting down a road with a huge hunk of steel rather than a plastic box, as do most our guys which is why I always get to shut down lanes, even though I'm the newer guy, we all feel safer.

I do love the comments though also, "you drive that?" as they point to the biggest truck in the lot I'm 5' 11'' so sorta on the smaller side.
