i took everything off of my 95 and am putting it onto the 90. you will need to get all of the 4x4 parts to convert it. example transfercase, front axle, springs and all the hardware.

front springs. front spring hangers. complete front steering assembly. transmission for a 7.5l engine. transfer case. driveshafts. front axle, and rear axle if the front gear ratio does not match the ratio in your rear axle.

Don't forget the drive shafts off the donor truck. And you will have to cut the floor for the transfer case shifter. Its pretty simple.

you'll be time and money ahead to count your losses of making the mistake of buying the 2wd truck when you needed a 4wd.if you payed fair for it,you should be able to sell, save and buy a 4wd.this conversion is not for the faint of heart.its a mod only worth doing to the F-Super duty (pre f450) imho.anything else is worth buying the 4wd for starters.i guess the light duty f150's everything is pretty much bolt on swap.not the case with the hd 250/350's.
i wouldn't want to be be fdude this month lol. dude, your going to be saying some new words, you didn't even know you knew pretty soon here.

It can be done, but dont know if YOU can do it.

What year is your donor? It will make things easier if it is a 91 and older.

You need...
front and rear driveshaft
4wd transmission(from a 460 ONLY)
transfer case
front axle with matching gear ratio to your rear axle OR both axles from donor
rear f350 block
Front springs
front spring hangers
front shock brackets and shocks
track bar mount and track bar
driverside u-bolt plate

i have to agree with f250hdxlt. i think you might be better off to just sell what you have and find a 4x4 truck like you want. 91-96 f350 drw 4x4 trucks are out there for less than $3,000.00. not to jack this thread but f250hdxlt i have been saying a few words already and my gf has said a few i never heard before lmao
