Scanned my CEL and ???
I had some questions... first off, P0237 - is this a possible MAP sensor failure, and if so, is there a way to test the MAP sensor?
I did a GP test while engine was running and it timed out...anyone ever heard of this?I have had problems starting really hard in the cold...
1. Batteries just 6 months old, when cranking voltage dips below 10v
2. went to clean connections to starter and they were clean as a whistle.
3. One of the batteries is testing out only at 740cca instead of the rated 850cca...could this be the culprit?
4. What about the EOT?
5. I checked the connection to the ICP(because of loss of power off and on) and found oil in the connection...bad sensor?
6. already unplugged my EBPV
Other codes I pulled from tests on the scanner are;1. P0196 , 2. P0475+6 , 3. P0603 , 4. P0605
I believe that there is a possibilty that I could i tripped some of these codes through my ignorance/ trial and error of using a scanner. If there is anyone that could help me out...I would appreciate it.

With that many codes, you will drive yourself crazy tracking each one...
I'd clear them and see how many come back..
ICP sensor with oil in it means the diaphragm has failed and is now leaking oil from the rail in there. It could still be doing it's job, it's just a matter of time...
First thing I would do is have those batteries load tested... They may be 6 months old but that doesn't mean a darn thing nowadays...
Map sensor isn't going to be the culprit of a hard start...
Which scanner are you using? Can you watch the ICP and DC% while cranking? What are the numbers?

It was a Matco Determinator and I only had it for a couple hours. My volts would drop down to about 9.7 volts to 10.2 while cranking. I know you could monitor while running but not for sure if you could crank it and see it. I am on the road again and won't be able to get ahold of his scanner for several weeks. I have a contact at a diesel institute in MI that said he would scan it Tues. Try to diagnose it as a class I guess. I did just notice that I have a little exhaust smoke coming out where the EBPV butterfly seats.
