I only had the c4, almost had a c6 but the guy junked it before I could get time to get it. I thought about going to a 16-17" black powder coated spoke rim with the polished outer ring but never got there. It only had 14" rims on it

When I got the car the previous owner had it in flat black primer. I Believe it was originally black with the gold on the bottom of the car

I was looking at getting a set of these:
Summit Racing SUM-84-5865 - Summit Racing® 84 Black D Series Wheels - Overview - SummitRacing.com
Figured it would do the car justice.

When the 302 was in the truck, the C6 sapped a LOT of power from the motor. It seriously needed a lot more power to push the truck around. 2wd supercab with a 400lb bumper on the front and it couldn't even spin the tires on grass lol. As for the paint, I'd really like to see that combo. Sounds pretty sweet.

Damn, those are sharp! If I wasn't going for a sleeper look (and it wasn't outside my current price range) I'd pick them up! There's a local guy selling a complete set of 18's with tires and centercaps for $250. Supposedly they came off a Ranger or something.

Oh that looks pretty sweet! I don't know how that would've looked with the wheel and tire combo you had though lol seems to me it would look a little funny.

Yeah it happens. That paint would look sweet on a 92-96 pickup though!

That's kinda what I'm thinking for mine. Either just black or black with red stripes or like my first truck.

For some reason when you said 77 I was thinking another mustang, not the 77 pickup.

Yeah, A stock 351w is the 77 pickup should do good. They have 210 hp and 325 fpt. And the EFI won't be as moody in cold weather.
