I have my truck at a diesel shop a very reputable one.Its a 1992 7.3 Turbo (ATS)The owner of the shop told me they are having problems getting injectors for it,and they are waiting for the factory to actually build them.He said he would give them a few weeks and build his own if need be.Anyone ever heard of this?Is there another plae to get them from?

 

For some reason new injectors for the IDI are kind of scarce and have been for a few months. Rebuilds are generally available.

For the small price difference, I'd buy new unless it was an emergency of some sort.

well he wanted help...Im offering help to locate injectors. Im more than happy to give him leads I have but I wont do all the leg work for him.

If he wants to find out more about products being in stock I hear they have new invention that allows a person to communicate with another person (or in this case to check the status of a product) without being the same room with said person...only problem is you have to pull the string tight first before talking into the little cup hahaha

 

We called a few of those places this week.We were told they would have to check and get back to us or they were out of stock at the moment.The websites stated that they had but really didn't.Yes I have made numerous calls and yes no one has them.I felt like it did not hurt to ask .

You could pm Typ4 and see if he has any....I know a while back he was out, but then got some more in. Haven't seen anything mentioned recently though to have any idea what he has. Another advantage with his is the fact he matches pop pressures for the set.

 

delphi is still on backorder. I have none.

they dont have any in stock. at least last week they didnt according to an oilburner member.
there are some at mylex on ebay but they are way overpriced for just injectors, but supply and demand.
