Questions 2005 Navigator

I just purchased a 2005 Navigator Ultimate and have a few questions,

--- This is from the U.S. and I am in Canada where we require Daytime running lights, where do you find the module for this? (picture would be really good)

and if it is not there where is the sensor that puts the lights on (auto lamps) so that I can put something over it until I have the inspection done, can't seem to find one on the dash where they would normally be located.

My auto light sensor is dead center of the dash by the windsheild. Bout the size of a nickel or dime. Just black circle. But mines a 98. But thats where ive seen it on every car with auto lights.

Idk about any other stuff.

The only thing in the center of the dash is the red light for security system.

Do u have auto lights then??? Idk. Mines a 98 navi. But usually are somewhere on dash some where. Or maybe around rear veiw mirror. My dads rain sensor for his auto wipers were on his rear view mirrow kind of where its glued to windsheild.

Mines right in center and pretty close to windsheild. May look for something that looks like its clipped in. Looks like the new ones are square. Be around the defrost vents maybe
