Rich is always an important part of our meets, and he's currently on the wrong side of the Atlantic trying to earn a living.
We expect him back near the end of March, and it just seems like too good of an opportunity to pass on...can you just imagine a group of us getting together on April fools day??
Those who show up in Dodges or Chevys may receive some harassing, but are certainly welcome...anybody that shows up in an import may be beaten viciously.
I'm kidding, of course, all are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Now then...as we've already assumed a date, we need to plan on a location.
Please use this thread to post your suggestions, be as specific as possible, and I'll wait for a week or so, then start a poll so that we can vote on it.

I guess the usual places. The Zoo, Finley park in Ozark, heck just about anywhere in Springfield area, since that's about the center for all of us. Except you northern folks way up in KC area.
No matter where we go, it should be a good time.

We have to take into account the distances that some folks are driving there newer truck versus the old tired ones. I would love to drive ol blue with the bronco on the trailer.
Here is the Lockwood Mo "Jones Mud Fest" schedule:
March 24th Trails Only Weekend
April 21st Mudfest Season Opener
June 16th Mudfest
June 22-24 RaceMORE.net Harescramble (trails and pits closed)
July 14th Mudfest
If my truck is still together, I'll be one of the "old, tired trucks" for sure. I'm back from the upholsterer. Did you know you CAN NOT find brown cloth anymore for car upholstery?! They just don't friggin' make it anymore. So I settled on a patterned vinyl that will be close to the original seat pattern. Oh well.

Alan did you try the auto upholstery place off Collage street in Spg? They are right next to a Anderson gun shop at 1717 W Collage st, on the north side of town. Ck out that store too!
Collage and Kansas Expressway/13, they fixed the top on the bronco with a little sewing and a snap.

i vote for my place.. after all it is still in missouri.... plenty of room and trails to play with our trucks with no rules or supervision ha ha ha.. plus i could get away without having to fix my truck i could just push the old ford there..maybe have the girls fix us a feast..you could even find something to work on for you workaholics out there..also have a nice creek and lake for the kiddies and fishermen

After the last work fest/lunch, I'm not opposed to that, RC. Those girls can cook!
Kinda far for the northerners, though.
Well apparently, it's not just this guy that can't get dark brown automotive cloth. I was standing with him as he called around. NOBODY has enough to do inserts and NOBODY makes dark brown cloth. Kinda frustrating, actually. I can get leather and vinyl all day long, but no cloth.

Well that sucks, Rich! Terry, RC isn't exactly the center, (He's actually way off center) but he's not lying about being a great spot for a G2G. We would have to go down and put up signs ahead of time because it's also not the easiest place to find. ....and there's always banjo music playing for some reason. lol, J/K there, RC.
As stated before, the usual places are up for grabs. Finley River park in Ozark, ...the Springfield Zoo, ....there's a park right behind Fuddrucker's burger joint on Battlefield (I think). It doesn't matter if it's the 1st, or the 14th, as long as Rich can come. It sucks missing out on so much over there, we can at least adjust fire so he has something cool to look forward to when he gets back.

i guess if i have to drive anyway whats a few more miles!!! we could just pile up at his place in boliver just as easy..that way if rich didnt show up..we could bring out the "hot pink" rattle cans and put a stop once and for all to the arguing about the color of a certain bronco..ha ha ha ha ha
