HID or stay factory?

I've had my retro solutions 4300 55w kit in now for about 2 months and thought Id share with you guys my experience.
The good.......
1st off the light output is awesome. Plus there is that cool factor of them flashing and warming up when they first turn on. With my stock headlight you could really notice the fogs light helping your vision with the dims on, with the HIDs you cannot tell if they are on or not. I will say retros customer support answered me on a sunday with helpful information.
The bad......
I've had that grill apart 4 times messing with this kit. The high/low beam was reversed how it came to me. The wires coming out of the bulb itself were pulled on so it kept the high beams from coming on. I've adjusted the headlights down a lot because of all the cars flashing lights at me. After I purchased the kit I read that these bulbs are actually illegal without projectors because of the glare from dispersed light. And the biggest "bad" for me is when you turn the high beams on the actual bulb bounces over any little bump in the road causing the light to bounce everywhere (VERY annoying).
To be honest if I were to do it all over I would buy some better halogen light bulbs and install some offroad lights.

I did the "KC DayLighters" in my front bumper too. Bought the 55watt round chromes and they work great. There are several plastic plugs holding the lower black plastic air-dam under the bumper on. I pulled out the two plastic plugs in the middle area behind the plate holder and used these holes...so no drilling to speak of, except, I did ream-out the holes with a drill bit just a little....but not much.
I live in Indiana so I removed the front license plate holder ,as we only have 1 plate in the back, so it would not block the lights. Worked out well. The other option would be to drill new holes I guess or used another set of holes from the front air-dam.
KC also has 100 watt, and 130 watt lights.
Here are mine
