replacing the master cylinder in a 79 F 350

I'm brand new to this forum and I don't know if I'm posting in the right section, I figure if not I will be redirected. I was wondering if there was how to on doing the MC replacement? The brake pedal goes to the floor almost every time you press on the brake, any ideas ?

Jake

You need to check that the rear brake shoes are good along with the brake shoe springs and stuff. You then need to make sure the rear shoes are fully adjusted up.
You should also check for any fluid leaks in the system.
Replacing the master cyl is easy. Disconnect brake pipes, remove nuts holding master cyl to booster and remove master cyl. Bench bleed the new master cyl and fit. You will then need to bleed both front and rear brakes.
