I just got an 07 F150 and have some ?s

Hey guys! I'm new to this so I'm not too sure how it works. Anyways, I just bought my truck, used, and it didn't some with an owners manual. So I was wondering if someone could tell me how much quarts of oil it would take and recommend the best oil?
Thanks!

The amount of oil depends on which engine you have. Here is a link to where you can download a manual

5.4 is 7 quarts including the filter. Requires 5W20....do not substitute a different weight oil. I've used Mobil1 full synthetic since new and at nearly 80k it uses zero oil between changes but most all of the semi syn and full synthetics are a good bet. The filter is Motorcraft FL820S. Its a wee little thing but supposedly quite adept at its' filtering duties. Stay away from Fram filters, no personal experience but a lot of negative chatter out there.

Here's one admittedly unscientific review of Fram filter construction.
