94 B2300 hard start after stall and random power loss

I have a 4 cylinder 94 B2300 with only 67K on it. It randomly stalls on take off (hot or cold) or has server power loss for a brief moment and I have to clutch to crap out of it so it doesn't stall. But if it stalls it takes me a few minuets of trying to start it back up. Then it seems to be fine until next random episode. In the past couple of years I have changed the battery, plugs & wires, fuel: filter, pump, and relay, and I just change one of the coil packs because it was cracked bad! Changing the coil pack seem to help over all on some off the line hesitation and improved it's over all power.

crap or water in my fuel tank maybe?

electrical... some sensor I should check or replace?

Any other ideas?

Thanks

Did you change one or two coil packs. Your 4 cyl. engine has two of them - one on the intake side of the engine and one on the exhaust manifold side.

Perhaps, before you do that, take the truck to an auto parts store that offers free electrical system checks to see if they can locate the cause. Then come back here and let us know what you find out and we'll see what we can do to help you.

I just changed the front coil pack because the back coil pack didn't show any signs of cracks like the front coil pack. I know it's best to change both but before I started dropping a bunch of money I figured new pack was a lot better then my old one with a huge spilt in the plastic case. I'll change the the other one this week, but changing the front coil pack it still didn't fix the problem.

No I haven't check the codes because the check engine light hasn't come on at any point. But I'll run it up to Autozone and get it checked.

update

Ok after a fews weeks of not having the time to deal with it I finally got up to Autozone to see if any codes popped up on their scanner. No codes came up!

I did notice after trying to pay closer attention to when the problem happens. It's when the truck is cold and it comes down off of cold idle.

Example: I start the truck (fires right up) truck idles high. I drive 1000' down my street and I catch the light. As I'm sitting at the light I can hear the truck's idle kick down. When the light turns green... I go to take off and truck wants to stall (no power) if the truck stalls it a sometimes very hard to start right back up (1-2 min of interval cranking). Sometimes the truck will go but she hesitate then stumble then kick back in and go just fine.

The truck seems to be fine once it actually get operational temp. Then then there is no problems of stalling or hesitation.

Any thoughts???
