diesel motor swap for a 74 f-100
anyone know of a place you can find diesel motors in the oklahoma/texas area?

No, buy the entire diesel donor truck. Way easier and believe it or not it can sometimes be cheaper than trying to buy just the engine.

Oh I see what your saying. But I guess I could find the truck complete with engine and tranny. And just swap them in

Bingo! You'll also be snagging misc bits like brackets, PS pump, alternator, fan, radiator, shroud, and a lot of other stuff that a bare engine likely won't have.

10-4 Grabbing the whole truck will give you everything for the swap. The ECM can be expensive as hell.

True if going the 24V or Powerstroke route, but 12V and IDI engines only need one power wire.
Heck you could go all manual pull cables with those if you wanted. Just need to hook up the starter.

anything 93.5 is too new for you in Fords so that actually makes it nice and cheap
