I have a chance to buy a 92 f150. Its missing the front shaft and T case. But my 94 has all the parts. But isnt drivable. so are those parts swappable? im pretty sure they are. since their both standard cab short beds. can anyone verify it for me and make sure i can? dont want to waste money haha.

 

im not an expert but i think it would depend on the engine and trans. are they the same in both trucks?

 

No the 92 is a 351 my 94 has a 302. their both the same tranny though i believe.

 

should be a direct swap if both transfer cases are manual shift. If one is electronic shift and one is manual,there will be wiring issues to deal with unless the electronic shift can changed over to manual shift,and I have no idea if that is possible.

 

from what ive found out the electronic transfercase cant be changed to manual.
