Hey everybody,

I am a NEW FORD owner and my choice was a 1998 Expedition. I dearly love my truck. But small problem. I did not receive an owner's manual or the original keys with it. Bought it used and I really need to know a few things. This is the Eddie Bauer Edition and all the fancy things, sunroof, leather, 6 cd changer etc.
Does anyone have any suggestions? thank you in advance tannis

 

try ebay, they will have manuals and new keys....

I ordered a new manual from Helm Inc. and I also ordered a CD-Rom version off of ebay. I haven't got either one yet so I can't tell you the quality of the CD yet..

And for the Keys the ones I looked at on ebay after shipping you pay more then you would at a Ford Dealer and the dealer cuts it for free and then you can program it yourself.. I just programed mine last night and it took less then a minute..

Thank you and everyone for responding so quickly. I printed out the instructions. I will go to the Dealer and take these with me. You have really really helped me.

I found the book on Helm Inc It also included the Service manual for a total of $16 and $4. Thank you. I am going to coming to this forum just to read. You all are so informative.

Trying to figure out how to upload pics of Eddie. I filled the Gallery Form but haven't found the upload feature yet. Sure proud of my Eddie.
