5.0 edelbrock EFI intake on 5.8?

Will a 5.0 edelbrock upper and lower (dual TB truck style) fit on a 5.8 motor? if not, why not? it doesnt really make sense to me since the heads between the 5.0's and 5.8's are virtually interchangeable . also, i have world windsor jr 180cc heads for a 5.0/5.8, not yet installed on my truck, will the upper and lower intake go to them? I have heard rumor only the upper will fit my truck, but the guy selling them seams to think they will both fit on (just realized in his add he said "didnt fit 351w like i was told"... but still, with world windsor Jr heads, why wouldnt they bolt up?). And i have a crushed EGR (a homemade EGR delete by previous owner)

I got a killer deal on these and want to get them if theyll fit, heres the add.

Edelbrock 5.0 intake - $250 (Southeast ct)

I have a edelbrock lower and upper intake system for a 5.0 mustang or truck. It's for the ford 302. It's in mint condition. Nothing wrong with it. This is 600 brand new. I bought it to use but it didnt fit the 351 w like I was told. It's not for a carb. Efi only. Throttle body not included.

thanks guys,
Zach

The 351 block is taller and wider than the 302.. a result of the 1/2" longer stroke, so there is roughly 3" more space between the heads on the 5.8 compared to the 5.0. Both Edelbrock and Professional Products make a 5.8 specific lower to match that upper so you could still utilize it.

BaronVonAutomatc is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I've got a 5.8 lower intake I'm not going to use that you can have for cheap. PM me if you're interested.

5.0 intake on 5.8

You may also want to look at Price Motorsport. They make a whole range of intake
adapter plates.
