Is there was a way for both teams to lose?
I can't root for New England...ever since the "tuck rule" game that began the Raider's slide into oblivion it's just not possible. Can't root for the Giants because...they're the Giants.
Best possible outcome for me is an exciting game, pick up a little dough on the pool and have some good eats. Maybe a libation or two

Being a Charger's fan, I had to root against the G-men... not that I like the Pats all that much, but I think Eli Manning is a spoiled brat and showed it when he threatened to sit out the season when the Chargers drafted him. What a PUNK! (Of course, in retrospect, I have to admit that Archie was right, the Giants were the up and coming team at the time)
I'm really just glad the game is over. Pitchers and catchers report for spring training in a couple of weeks!!!

OK. THIS was the best commercial, hands-down:
Chevy Silverado 2012 Ad Super Bowl Game Day Commercial - YouTube
Give credit where it's due.....Chevy ****-ized Ford in this one, and some of the props were hilarious......Clever commercial, and the fact that a box of Twinkies made it through the apocalypse too was a great finishing touch.
(and yes...the Teleflora commercial was....well......'nuff said.......)

I agree with your (non) pick, but the Raider's slide into oblivion started long before that game... sometime shortly after Al Davis bought the team.
