Unhappy 15pass Rear driver side panel removal help

The connection for my roof air vents has came loose behind the panel in the rear, driver side. I can't figure out how to remove the panel to see whats up, has anyone had to remove this piece before? Thanks

They have hidden clips, you have to pop them off, I did my forward section and passenger side on my 99 to run wiring for stereo and extra lighting, it fits tight, start at the top, with all rear seats out. Have fun.

Yes, clips up top that you just have to yank on. You'll think you are gonna break it but they will come loose. if you mean down toward the bottom around the air vent return, well i did break mine. I couldn't figure out how else to get it loose. I put it back together with sheetrock screws. Works fine. The Ford passenger van rear trim is really cheap plastic, but i've had every panel of mine out several times now for running wires, etc. and the clips all keep hangin' in there except for those low ones around the rear air system.

Oh, thx Dbasso. I've got one of those, too, but wasn't using it when i first pulled (and broke) mine, but not it's been improved. Some may say broken and fixed, i say modified and improved.

That tool is useless, pulling the top, there is no where to insert it, just gotta grip it with your fingers and pull.
