Today's multi MB cameras make huge pictures with a coresponding large file size. resize your pictures first with a simple editing program (Gimp is very powerful and free if one didn't come with your camera software) to somewhere near 600 x800 pixels at 75 dpi resolution. If the program gives you the option, compress the file by ~ 50% when resaving it as a renamed .jpg file. The on screen picture size and detail will be high enough for others to view easily without the need to scroll to see it all. Upload the file to a free online picture storage site and link it if you want it to appear in you post.

For those steel to steel joints I have found a 3M product that works well. It is rubber tape used for electrical joints and comes in different widths, it is somewhat adhesive on one side so it stays where you put it. It is thin as well so it is good for tight joints. Just have to puch hole where needed.
I buy it at Home Depot.
