Scotts 7.3 is starting off with a positive reputation.
Well I pulled the IPR. Is there something else I need to do or check, valve movement, etc.? Or just put on new seals and hope it is good?

Well, nothing stuck that I could tell, just a bunch of ugly oil, so I cleaned it, put it back in. He#@$ yeah, it runs. Go figure. Thanks again to all who helped out, I couldn't have done it with out you guys, and I learned a lot more about this beast. Test drive happens now.

Sorry, a little late with the info, but glad to hear it was the IPR, usually just seals and check for wear on where the needle seat is.

That 7.3 will seem as simple as the answer to 2+2 if you hang around here long enough!

Kinda expensive... $200. It'd be worth it if you don't mind it... I'd throw an ICP sensor in there along with a CPS if you don't mind spending the dough to do so. Wouldn't mind being able to do the same, either.
