Time for fuel bowl o-rings?

Mine won't drain unless you open the filter cap to let some air in.
When you open the cap and pull the filter, look down into the bottom of the bowl to see if there is a bunch of junk down there. If there is, you don't necessarily need to rebuild the bowl, but you do likely need to clean it out. You can remove the standpipe but IT IS REVERSE THREADED, so be careful. Once you remove the standpipe, the fuel bowl heater can be unplugged from inside the bowl and removed. Then you can really clean that bowl out.
Also, if the bowl is clean and not a full of silt, you can power dump the bowl. With the engine running, open the drain valve momentarily and let the pressure of the fuel pump blow the junk out of the drain valve. Just be careful, it will blow a lot of fuel out in a hurry at close to 70 PSI.
