04 Limited PSD Door Sticker and Receipt

Found in the giant stack of crap that came in my glovebox, the original sticker and receipt from the dealer, thought some of you might be interested:

Look at those payments!

Very nice. You're lucky that it's still there and fully in tact. I only have one of the three, and unfortunately someone who test drove it before us either put the window down or decided to tear it off, so it was kinda hanging there. The prep guys were able to remove it and tape it back together, but it's still torn.

I asked them about getting a replacement sticker, and they looked at me funny and had no idea how to go about it.

Since I have neither '02 sticker, I don't know exactly what they look like, but I think they're red instead of blue.

'05 didn't look much different than yours:

Only a 4k different for the diesel... surprised not more opted for the diesel, given that it was that little on what was already a 50k truck.

I agree. I heard Ford did more V10s in the '05s compared to '03/'04, maybe because they were trying to use up the 2Vs. I thought I heard or saw percentages somewhere and like around 50% (or maybe a little under) of '05s were PSD vs. the previous years it was closer to 35-40%.

The difference here- this was a dealer ordered truck. After having it sit on the lot for six months until we came along, it turned into a 40k out the door truck. I hear for PSDs at the time, it was a 55k truck period, because they were still in such high demand.

As you can see from the receipt, mine went for MSRP in 04.... there is another document that has a lot of the original buyer's personal info on it, but his total amount financed was around 66k because he paid off that suburban he traded in with the loan he took out for the excursion as well and apparently was like 12k in the hole on what he owed vs what they gave him for the suburban. Must have really wanted the upgrade over the suburban.

I also think its funny yours has "jeweled headlamps" and mine has "crystalline headlamps." As you can see, mine are functional, where yours are just exterior. haha.

Yeah, but it looks like yours have a bit longer warranty! Still enjoying those warranty benefits?

Edit, never mind. I thought yours was 36/36 and mine 3/36, but I think the one six got cut off in the tear. For a second I thought yours had 36 years vs. mine 3!

Of any ford motor, I bet ford is most glad it did not offer a 36 year warranty on the 6.0

I just looked through my files because I thought I've saved some pictures of other ones through the years. I found some:

Mine also has a block heater cord which appears to be OEM, its not on my sticker so I guess someone added the cord later (my understanding is they all have the heater).

I just ran the Autocheck for your VIN and it says it was originally sold in Missouri, so they probably don't have the block heater order requirement there like the northern states do.

These are pretty cool. I need to go look in my glovebox too! - jk

What does the one that is ordered from the Ford site look like?

Congrats on 8501 Stewart. You should be hitting 10K by the end of the month!

There's a term for that, ya know!

It rhymes with "Toast War"
