Good morning Rob.

I don't know yet. I had to take the excursion because I haven't finished putting the escort back together. Truck started good yesterday and ran fine when I parked it. Cranks over but won't fire. Hopefully low oil level. I guess if it gets low enough a safety feature wont let it start it is parked on an incline and it burns and leaks enough so maybe. Time to change the oil anyways

At least you have a backup vehicle Jim... Diesels baffle me, but then again, so does anything else with an engine, lol.

I'm not as proficient as I should be with them either. Should pony up for a good scan tool.

Maybe it's the spark plugs?

Seems like a lot of guys have some sort of scan tool, that probably would be helpful. My dad didn't get his diesel till after I moved out, so I never got familiar with them.

Lot of sensors and electronic stuff. But can increase performance a lot with just a tuner unlike a gas job

That is the only benefit to this year. Course it hasn't discouraged the pigs from running the price of oil up
