Ill come see you if you can fix my truck that everyones been giving me diffrent opinions on.

e99 F-350 dually 4x4

Its a big purple dog and the EGTs go through the roof when I tow.

It has a Superchips that i dont think is doing much and a BD Torque -Loc tranny that doesnt seem to do much either.

I took the CAT off and it didnt make any diffrence.

The trucks only got 50,000 kms on it , so it shouldnt be worn out?

I dont want to spend thousands but there must be something I can do with this thing?

Its an e-series so it does not have an intercooler so temps get hot with poor quality tunes. If anything, I would recommend letting me try a custom tuned SCT Tuner specific to that van with more timing and less fuel. See if we can get a better air filter, make sure there are no boost leaks and look at installing a boost fooler. Those are all the tricks I know to incease air intake efficiency/reduces temperatures without installing a different turbo

I've passed your shop a few times, how familiar are you guys with the old 7.3L IDI engine? I'm local and looking into getting injectors/glow plugs/etc all done, and most shops I go into don't stop calling it a powerstroke long enough for me to want to stick around and let them monkey with it. I've poked into a few shops, and most seem ignorant to it's existence, aside from BD Diesel but they only sell the Injector Pumps. I get most of my parts from RG Auto, and they are good but they are learning about my truck as they go. So I've just learnt and done all my own work on my truck as I've gone along, but it would be nice to have at least one shop locally who knows a thing or two about my engine.
