its supposed to work for several fires... or least thats what it said in the lil instruction thing that came with it... they even put one of their gel starter packets for the next time ya make a fire...
the log itself is.. but the chemicals it releases and its own ashes below keep working for every following fire... supposed to burn one every 60 fires for fire places... but also depends on how much ya use it too.. dont think my brother uses it often so once per season should be good... if you have a wood stove and do a fire a day it should be done twice a season... and if you have a continuous fire burning it they say once every 2 months...
