Well, we had an eventful day today. I was getting my haircut when I heard sirens and saw one emergency vehicle after another go flying out of town. A short while later, I get a call from Tiff that her step dad was in an accident. Long story short, he got hit head on by a guy doing 60 as he was pulling out of a driveway after finishing his meals on wheels route. The van is totaled. He's doing ok, but has 5 or 6 broken ribs and they're keeping him over night to make sure nothing else is wrong. He was scraped up and banged up other than that.

While we were in the E.R., we saw a friend of ours. They were there with their 39 year old son. He's already had one open heart surgery and we were watching his vital signs. His numbers didn't look good at all. We didn't say anything to his parents. We hope he pulls through. He's a good guy.

Before all that, I went out and took some pictures of that serpentine belt set up I put on the 305. I only had to make a few minor adjustments to get it from the 4.3L to the 305.

I couldn't sleep last night so I got up around 0600. By 0630, I was showered, dressed, and had the dishes done. Now at 1312 hours, the whole house is clean, all the laundry is done, and supper is started. Ham and beans tonight. Mmmmm, yummy!

 

You're stopping at my house next - right?

I'm going to have the new Durango keys cut and programmed this evening for $45 each. Not much else going on here...
