Seat swaps
#16
its hella easier to swap in a 40/20/40 and replace the jump seat with a console...much much easier than having to drill new holes in floor, fab mounts etc.

the bench seats whether from a supercab, reg cab or a crew cab all have the same mounting it is a direct bolt in. within the last months ive installed 2 bench seats with the fold down center from reg cabs into a 92 and a 93 both supercabs. and one of the seats was from a 87 reg cab and the other was from a 93 reg cab

Sorry as I'm being thick headed and still a little fuzzy on this.
So, in my crew cab, I could mount my existing 40/20/40 front seat in place of the rear seat, YES
and mount a 40/20/40 from the front of an extended cab or Bronco as my front seat? With no holes needing to be drilled?

SUpercab 40-20-40 seats have a 3 piece frame(one for each part of the seat)
Reg cab and crew cabs have a 1 piece frame(all 3 seat pieces bolt to it) and then it bolts in like a bench

I was given a set of seats out of either a navigator or a top end expidetion. It is going to require a bit of fabrication. I am going out for surgery end of September and will be out for 6 to 8 weeks, so i fugure I will have some time on my hands then to mess with them. The are a bit wider than my 92 seats and i may need to find a skinnier console to make them fit.
I will have a thread documenting the swap

thats a nice fit.must be from an 03 f150? im not a fan of the over stuffed '99+ super duty seat fitment.that's a much more correct fit for our sized cabs.

hey guys this is a little off topic I think but I have to ask this and it is alot easier to ask here where others have done it then open a thread and be directed here. So here it goes. I bought seats out of a 85 Ford super cab F250 captain chairs and a middle console. Well I am putting them in our 89 F250 4x4 regular cab. Well I figured out how I am going to put the console in but how can I put the seats in. The 89 F250 had a bench seat. I think I would have to fab up some mounts but biggest question is does anybody have some made up I can kinda figure out how to make them up?
