Putting buckets in a bench seat truck is not a bolt in deal.
its hella easier to swap in a 40/20/40 and replace the jump seat with a console...much much easier than having to drill new holes in floor, fab mounts etc.

the bench seats whether from a supercab, reg cab or a crew cab all have the same mounting it is a direct bolt in. within the last months ive installed 2 bench seats with the fold down center from reg cabs into a 92 and a 93 both supercabs. and one of the seats was from a 87 reg cab and the other was from a 93 reg cab

I bought a set of buckets, with the console...I have them in, but needing to finish up....Haven't had the time, with the past 2 wks...

They're manual seats, with the electric lumbar....

Only thing they didn't come with was the spacer for the console, which is fine....I can make my own..

Leather 40/20/40 out of an 03 Lariat. I had to fabricate a new rail to go under the seats, but they're so nice.

Sorry as I'm being thick headed and still a little fuzzy on this. So, in my crew cab, I could mount my existing 40/20/40 front seat in place of the rear seat, and mount a 40/20/40 from the front of an extended cab or Bronco as my front seat? With no holes needing to be drilled?

NO

SUpercab 40-20-40 seats have a 3 piece frame(one for each part of the seat)

Reg cab and crew cabs have a 1 piece frame(all 3 seat pieces bolt to it) and then it bolts in like a bench

A clear answer and an explanation! Thanks!

I was given a set of seats out of either a navigator or a top end expidetion. It is going to require a bit of fabrication. I am going out for surgery end of September and will be out for 6 to 8 weeks, so i fugure I will have some time on my hands then to mess with them. The are a bit wider than my 92 seats and i may need to find a skinnier console to make them fit.

I will have a thread documenting the swap

thats a nice fit.must be from an 03 f150? im not a fan of the over stuffed '99+ super duty seat fitment.that's a much more correct fit for our sized cabs.
now to see if those come in black.

how do they ride? or let me ask this, softer, equal to,or firmer than 92-97 buckets?

Yes, they're out of a 150. They ride really nice, in fact, they're probably the reason I haven't gotten rid of the truck with all the problems I've had lately. The actual firmness is about the same, but my truck originally had a bench seat, so the ride is much better. My daily driver is a little VW golf, so having a seat with a bit more shape to it fits my driving style a lot better - I don't go sliding around quite so much. I think this is pretty much the best option for a swap into a truck of this year - it's comfy, I can still fit 3 passengers if I need to, and I get cup holders!

im thinking im going to put a 40/20/40 seat out of a dodge pickup into my 90......may have to drill some holes and put a space or two in but i think it should work out....i hate not having an arm rest and no cup holders, plus my bench is worn out bad

So I find me a non-extended cab front seat frame and I can bolt all of these seats to them, in the front of a regular cab or the rear of a crew cab?

hey guys this is a little off topic I think but I have to ask this and it is alot easier to ask here where others have done it then open a thread and be directed here. So here it goes. I bought seats out of a 85 Ford super cab F250 captain chairs and a middle console. Well I am putting them in our 89 F250 4x4 regular cab. Well I figured out how I am going to put the console in but how can I put the seats in. The 89 F250 had a bench seat. I think I would have to fab up some mounts but biggest question is does anybody have some made up I can kinda figure out how to make them up?
