MY beaterbilt ford

ok i figured i would finally share my latest project... the reason behind the name is- first owner had a plow mount on it and used it for whatever, took the box off slapped a wooden flatbed on. It was then sold to the 2nd owner who used it as a farm truck and did heavy work with it, it slowly lived its life being abused and neglected until the brake lines quit so owner parked it. I then came along 7 years after it sat and bought it for scrap price. What the truck is- 79 ford f350 custom, 400ci, borg warner t18, dana 60 axles, np205. One thing for sure this truck needs ALOT of work both exterior and interior.

more later when im wide awake.. pics

well at first i wanted to restore it but then decided against it so it will be becoming a hunting/mud truck.

drivers side floor board (now rusted out completely no support for feet)
pass floor
rebuilt the carb completely

i am currently working on finding a coolant leak i suspect the backing plate on water pump has a hole in it. the rear leaf springs along with hangers are shot and the drivers side front cab mount punched through. I did get the truck running but it has an idle issue and a clack from the valve train. Its winter around here right now so im waiting until it warms up to tackle the project some more
