I priced an Armour Guard lining and it was $500 here in Kelowna.

Not sure if it was a sales pitch or not but he told me Armour Guard does not experience the fading that LineX does. Perhaps it has UV protection in it already?

It was only available in black though. I struggled a lot trying to decide what to put it my truck and in the end ordered a BedRug instead, I'm going to have a canopy so I think the BedRug will do just fine.

I did get a really good deal on it. My friend also went with me and had his Dodge Ram's bed sprayed at the same time I had my 2011 F-150's done. The dealer had some kind of special going on at that time that knocked a little bit off the price because we came in together and had two trucks sprayed.

I had the Premium done to my truck at the beginning of January. In the older days, you had to get Xtra to get the UV protection, but premium is a new product that provides that protection for less money.

From what I understand, the Xtra is a kevlar based top coat that is stronger than Premium, but I never had a complaint about the strength of regular LineX....just the fading.

The extra money for a fade free bed over the life of the truck is money well spent.

I got the premium on my 11 F-150, I would definitely recommend that for the UV protection.

I got my black premium installed today. I think it looks great!
Thanks for all the input. I ended up paying $530.

Looks great!! I had the same done to mine. It looked so good I didn't want to put anything in it!! I was telling the manager that I have to pickup 5 pallets of wood pellets every fall for heating my house and it is gonna kill me to watch them slide the pallets in the back of the truck. So he went out of his way and grabbed me a old plastic 6.5 ft bedliner from behind his shop and cut out the center portion in between the wheel wells and laid it in there and said just use this when you get your pellets.

Looks great! Really works good with the grey paint job on your truck!

Here are a few photos of the one tvsjr was referring to - this is LineX Xtra color matched to Sterling Grey.
The guys at LineX of West Fort Worth did an outstanding job - very pleased with it.

Don't know bout Linex but Turbo liner has served me well. 5 years of mostly covered service and no fade (as I would expect). The installation is the key, the spray is built up at margins on a good job. Don't get a bed liner installed in cold weather if that is option. And always get black. colors will disappoint every time.
