trucks were made on the same line with or without AC, with or without radio, and there were 3 different radios put in also.
single cab, stretch cab, and crew cab. bucket seats, bench seat. cab lights, no cab lights.power windows, non power windows. 3 different engines for the F-250, and 2 different axles for the 4wheel drive.
all made on the same assembly line

things were very different 20 years ago. you could order what you wanted, not this is what we are giving you take it or leave it.
5 engines. 2 different front axles, and 2 different rear axles. (not counting gear ratios)

its a common swap in the mojave desert areas, too. nice, short truck for jumping with the durability of i beams. awesome.
